Ranbar Magenta SR1220-2 is a bright blue-red (magenta) acid anionic dye based on the Xanthene structure. It has a color index of Acid Red 52, appears as a reddish-brown powder, and boasts a high concentration, resulting in a vivid and bright color. This dye demonstrates excellent dyeing performance, but it has relatively poor lightfastness.

Ranbar SR1220-2 Acid Anionic Dye dissolves in water and ethanol, producing a Magenta solution with a fluorescent effect. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it turns orange and becomes red when diluted. The addition of sodium hydroxide to the solution results in a light blue-red color.

Acid Anionic Dye Ranbar Magenta SR1220-2 features a vibrant color, strong dyeing power, and good dye evenness. However, it exhibits a lightfastness of only 2-3 levels and is sensitive to water stains. Therefore, it is suitable for dyeing textiles with bright colors but low colorfastness requirements.
