Product Description:
Ranbar Red GS1610 UV activated pigment is a colorless to bright red UV sunlight activated pigment produced using microencapsulation technology. Upon exposure to ultraviolet light, the molecular structure undergoes a change, resulting in a vibrant red color. When removed from the UV light source, it reverts to its original color and can undergo color transformation repeatedly.
Applications:
Ranbar UV Activated Pigment can be widely applied in the fields of paint coatings, printing inks, plastics, rubber, and more. It is suitable for various substrates, including various plastic polymers, epoxy resin, metals, ceramics, glass, wood, paper, nail polish, slime, modeling clay, fabric, etc.
- The substrate for UV sunlight activated pigment is more suitable with materials having a pH value between 7 and 9. Processing should be avoided at temperatures exceeding 230°C.
- Excessive exposure to UV light, acids, free radicals (singlet oxygen atoms), and humidity may cause photofatigue of the UV activated pigment. Prolonged exposure is not advisable.
- UV activated pigment should not be used simultaneously with UV absorbers. It is highly sensitive to polarity, and different additives or the use of different substrates may result in color deviation.
- After injection molding, rapid cooling with cold water is recommended for optimal color concentration. (Natural cooling with slow heat dissipation can lead to fading or discoloration of product, affecting the overall quality of the effect).
Toxicity and safety:
Ranbar UV activated pigments are non-irritating to the skin, contain no harmful substances to the human body, and meet the standards for safe toy and food packaging.
Storage method:
Ranbar UV sunlight activated pigments should be sealed and stored in airtight, dry and dark places, avoid light, and prevent contact with strong acids and alkalis. The storage period is 3 years.
