Photosensitive Pigment Ranbar Yellow GS3080

Ranbar Yellow GS3080 is a colorless to yellow photosensitive pigment treated with microencapsulation technology. It contains molecules that undergo chemical reactions when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation or specific light sources. These molecules can absorb photons in ultraviolet light, leading to structural changes that affect their absorption and reflection properties. Consequently, photosensitive pigments can alter their color in response to incident light.

When a photosensitive pigment is in a dark or low-light environment, it usually remains “still” and displays a specific color. However, when exposed to the right light source (e.g. sunlight or artificial ultraviolet light), pigment molecules are excited and transformed into new molecular configurations.
