Ranbar Blue P5010 Phthalocyanine Blue is a modified stable alpha-type copper phthalocyanine blue organic pigment, with a color index of Pigment Blue 15:1. This pigment exhibits bright color, strong tinting strength, excellent lightfastness, weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, as well as very high heat stability and other color fastness properties. The surface of this phthalocyanine blue pigment has been modified to improve its flow and dispersion properties.
Ranbar P5010 phthalocyanine blue pigment’s excellent performance makes it widely used in plastics, coatings and printing inks, etc. It is recommended to be used in PVC, PE, PP, PS, PC, PU polyurethane foam, rubber, automotive coatings, architectural and decorative coatings, industrial coatings, art coatings, printing pastes, offset inks, UV inks, metal decorative printing inks and so on.
When applied in plastics, Ranbar P5010 Phthalocyanine Blue pigment exhibits excellent heat stability, enduring temperatures up to 310°C. In printing inks, particularly metal decorative inks, it can withstand temperatures of 200°C for 10 minutes. However, when used for coloring natural rubber, it’s essential to note that the sulfurization process might be influenced by the presence of free copper. The free copper content in Phthalocyanine Blue does not exceed 0.015%.
