The Ranbar 8G fluorescent yellow dye exhibits a vibrant color, high coloring strength, excellent heat stability (withstanding temperatures up to 300°C), outstanding acid and alkali resistance, solvent resistance, and good lightfastness. It is insoluble in water and shows good solubility in organic solvents.
Ranbar fluorescent yellow dye 8G is primarily utilized for coloring rigid plastic materials, including PS, HIPS, PC, RPVC, PMMA, PET, PBT, SAN, AS, and ABS resins, among others.
Ranbar fluorescent yellow 8G dye, when dissolved in the plastic melt, exhibits a molecular distribution, allowing for the attainment of bright and transparent hues. When combined with an appropriate amount of titanium dioxide or other dyes, semi-transparent or opaque tones can be achieved. The dosage can be adjusted according to specific requirements. Generally, the dosage for transparent tones is between 0.02% and 0.05%, while the normal dosage for opaque tones is around 0.1%.
